Enhancing Movement has the following cancellation policy to respect your time and mine.
Cancellation policy
To avoid a cancellation charge, you must call to cancel your appointment no less than 24 hours before your appointment.
- Same day cancellations related to illness will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- To avoid a cancellation charge for the full appointment you must call to cancel your appointment no less than 24-hours before your appointment.
- If you cancel anytime within 24-hours of your scheduled appointment time, but schedule a telehealth appointment in the same week, then no fee will be charged.
Payment policy
Enhancing Movement uses Ivy Pay, a HIPAA-secure online payment system. Requests to enroll are sent through your cell phone number.
Payment plans can be arranged if needed. If payment is due and not received, Enhancing Movement reserves the right to cancel future appointments until payment is received.
Enhancing Movement has the following missed visit policy because attendance makes the difference between you succeeding or failing in your rehabilitation journey.
Missed visit policy:
- Initial Evaluations (your first appointment): If you miss two initial evaluations for any reason, then I will do my best to fit you in when I have a cancellation.
- If you miss three treatment sessions due to cancellations or no-shows, you relinquish your appointment time, and I will do my best to fit you in when I have a cancellation.
Enhancing Movement has the following sick, COVID-19, and wellness policies to best serve you and your family and to promote a healthy environment for all clients and families.
Sick policy
If it becomes apparent during a therapy session that your child has symptoms related to a contagious illness, the session will be terminated. You will be responsible for the payment of the session because insurance companies do not pay for this type of termination unless you receive Medicaid.
COVID-19 Policy
I will wear an N-95 mask per request.
Wellness policy
Enhancing Movement requires you to complete a pre-appointment wellness check related to having a contagious condition, lice (must be lice free for 48 hours prior to therapy), and sores that cannot be bandaged, or other.
