My approach to caring for my little clients:

Using the latest treatment methods, I will help foster your child's gross motor development.  I will start by getting to know you and your child before I visit your home during a pre-visit phone interview. During this time, I will ask you to describe your child’s strengths and areas of need. If your child needs positioning equipment, I can help with this. If you decide you want to work with me, I will send you Enhancing Movement's intake paperwork. Upon meeting you and your child, I will perform a comprehensive evaluation of your child.  We will then together develop a plan of care for your child.  

It is important that parents are engaged in my treatment sessions. Subtle changes happen during sessions that you should witness. Most importantly, my one-hour session does not compare with your 24-hour care. One of my goals is to help you to help your child.

'Dual - treatment' care:
I know how difficult it is to care for a child with disabilities.  That is why I take a holistic approach and work with the whole family, offering 'dual-treatment' care.  

'Dual-treatment' care consists of back-to-back sessions first focusing on your child's needs and then addressing your movement needs, for example treating muscle strain related to taking care of your child.
